Dessers Scores As Rangers Come From Behind To Reach Scottish League Cup Final

Cyriel Dessers found the net as Rangers clinched a spot in the Scottish League Cup final with a 2-1 comeback victory over Motherwell at Hampden Park.

Nedim Bajrami secured the win with a crucial strike ten minutes before full-time, adding to Dessers’ equalizer early in the second half.

Dessers has now netted four goals in this season’s Scottish League Cup.

Motherwell took the lead midway through the first half, with Andy Halliday scoring after Steve Seddon’s perfectly placed cross from the left met Halliday’s deep run, allowing him to slot the ball past Jack Butland.

A strong second-half performance extended Rangers’ winning streak in the competition.
