Lagos State Government, through the Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority (LASPPPA), has announced the lifting of the embargo on the processing of Planning Permit in some selected areas of the State
The General Manager of the Agency, Tpl. Funmi Osifuye disclosed that Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu had approved the lifting of the embargo on the processing of Planning Permit in the areas recently released from Military.

He said in order to encourage developers and landowners in the affected places to make submissions, accruable Penal Fees for construction before obtaining Planning Permit would be stopped for a period of one year with effect from 28th November 2019
Osifuye urged Developers and Land Owners in the concerned areas to leverage on the gesture of the State Government by ensuring voluntary compliance and coming forward with their necessary documents for regularisation
