According to talkSPORT (Yahoo! Sport), Ruud van Nistelrooy has already applied for the vacant managerial position at Championship club Coventry City.

Taking on this role would see Van Nistelrooy challenge himself in England’s second tier, a move that underscores his determination to return to managerial work, with aspirations of eventually managing in the Premier League.
