On Sunday, 13th October 2024, Houston, Texas—a pulsating hub of cultural fusion and the fourth largest city in the United States—hosted the Afrocentric Eva Awards at the ultra-modern GSH Event Center.
This annual gathering is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of extraordinary Africans in the diaspora who have contributed immensely to the socioeconomic development of the United States, particularly within the Houston metropolitan area.
Attorney Omotayo Jamiu Lawal, one of the award recipients, was honored with the Legal Luminary of the Year award.
