The General Manager of LASCOPA, Mrs. Kemi Olugbode expressed the need to take consumer protection to the grassroots in order to educate more people about their rights.

Continuing, she said that the mandate of the Agency includes ensuring that offices are established in the various Local Governments and Council Development Areas to make services accessible to every consumer in the State.

She charged consumers to take advantage of the existence of LASCOPA to report any infringement on their rights, as the Agency would do everything within the law to ensure the protection and redress of violated rights of residents.
