Shiloh 2024: Dino Melaye Questions Oyedepo’s Leadership Over Abioye’s Retirement

Former Kogi State Senator Dino Melaye has expressed dissatisfaction over the absence of Bishop David Abioye at Shiloh 2024, the annual gathering organized by the Living Faith Church Worldwide.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that taking to social media, Melaye criticized the development and raised concerns about the church’s leadership structure following the retirement of Bishop Abioye, a younger senior pastor.

The politician questioned why Bishop David Oyedepo, who is older than Abioye, continues to lead the church while Abioye has retired. “I did not attend Shiloh 2024 because Shiloh without Bishop Abioye is somehow. I can’t understand why Bishop Oyedepo, who is older, is not retired, and Bishop Abioye, who is younger, is forcefully retired,” Melaye posted.

He further alleged that the decision was influenced by human factors rather than divine will, stating, “God did not retire Abioye, only Oyedepo did. Let’s watch.”

EKO HOT BLOG reported that Shiloh, the annual convocation of the Winners’ family, took place from December 10 to 15, 2024.

In response to such criticisms, the church’s founder, Bishop David Oyedepo, had previously called on detractors to avoid questioning the church’s decisions regarding the retirement of its pastors.
