EKO HOT BLOG reports that the ideal candidate will oversee various financial operations, ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards, and contribute to the overall financial health of the company. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing all accounting postings for accuracy and completeness.
- Preparing analytical management accounts and providing interpretations.
- Overseeing account receivable and payable management.
- Supervising the budget process and ensuring strict budgetary control.
- Establishing and updating accounting policies and procedures.
- Ensuring accuracy in payroll journals.
- Auditing financial transactions and substantiating records.
- Preparing and recommending policies to maintain accounting controls.
- Reconciling financial discrepancies through detailed analysis.
- Preparing documentation and defending the company’s position during tax audits by FIRS and LIRS.

- Managing and ensuring the delivery of all tasks assigned to the accounting unit.

- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local financial laws by studying legislation and advising on necessary actions.

- Performing additional tasks as assigned by the CEO and CFO.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting or a related business field.
- An MBA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant post-graduation experience across various industries.
- Professional certifications such as ICAN or ACCA are mandatory.
Salary
- ₦300,000 – ₦350,000 monthly.
