The Federal Ministry of Education has appointed Prof Lateef Ayeleru as the Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria French Language Village , Badagry, Lagos State .
The Minister of Education , Adamu Adamu , who announced this in Abuja on Friday, said the appointment took effect from January 10, 2020 .
Adamu revealed that the appointment is for a single term of five years, urging Ayeleru to cater for the yearnings and expectations of the Federal Government in the performance of his duties .
Adamu also added that the conditions of service of Prof Ayeleru, including remunerations and fringe benefits, are as provided for Vice- Chancellors in federal universities.
Ayeleru hails from the Iwajowa Local Government Area of Oyo State and was born on February 12 , 1966.
