The Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde was received in a seat-out get-together reception organised in honour of His Excellency by the General Officer Commanding 2 Division Nigerian Army, Maj Gen Anthony Bamidele Omozoje, at his residence, Tiger’s Den, Adekunle Fajuyi Cantonment, Ibadan.
The occasion took place yesterday, 7 March 2020 and was well attended by both state government officials and officers of the Division.
During the occasion the executive governor praised the officers and men of 2 Division for the high level of security and protection of lives and property in the State. According to Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde the officers and men of 2 Division do not only share timely and intelligent information but exhibit prompt response to the safety of lives and property in the State. The Executive Governor gave three examples of how he was safe beforehand in the past by men of the Division, before he became the governor of the State.
The General Officer Commanding thanked His Excellency for is continuous support of the Division. He also conveyed the Goodwill message of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Yusufu Buratai to the Governor, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde.
