Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mr. Segun Dawodu has acknowledged the roles played by social workers globally, saying that their contributions are responsible for societal integration and harmony enjoyed in most homes.

Dawodu, who disclosed this in his address to participants at the celebration of the Y2020 International Social Work Day in Lagos, stated that it was practically impossible for any society to exist without these sets of professionals.
