Six Ivory Coast returnees have tested positive for coronavirus in Osun State, According to a statement by the state government on Thursday.
Osun State Commissioner for Health, Dr Rafiu Isamotu, told correspondents that all the 127 returnees had been tested and 18 of them had returned positive.
This new development brings the total number of cases in the state to 20.
As at 2nd of April, Nigeria’s coronavirus cases since its outbreak in the country on February 25, has risen to 180, with 9 discharges and one death.
