BREAKING: Ekiti State Government Extends Lockdown By Two Weeks

The Ekiti State government has extended the lockdown in the state by two weeks as a measure to curtail the spread of croronavirus in the state.

The Ekiti State government had imposed a lockdown since March 29 to prevent the spread of COVID-19 for an initial 14-day period.

This is coming few hours after the Senior Special Adviser to the president on media and publicity, Garba Shehu, announced that President Muhammadu Buhari would address the nation by 7pm Monday night.

Ekohotblog understands that the expiration date for the 14-day lockdown directive earlier issued in Lagos, Ogun state and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) would end Monday night and there are speculations that it would be extended.
