A facebook user have narrated how the staff of a government hospital in Lagos State tagged a patient with a non Covid-19 related health issue as a Covid-19 Case and claimed it is the directive of the hospital management.
The facebook user in a post on facebook said his neighbor’s son sustained a head injury while playing outside, he was rushed to the hospital and was recuperating well, he said he paid the boy a visit in the hospital and his mother pointed out the covid-19 tag attached to the receipt given to them in the hospital
The mother of the boy said when she collected the receipt, she saw Covid-19 case 353, written on it and called the attention of the nurse to it, she said the nurse told her not to worry that it means nothing, she is only doing what is required of her.
Not satisfied with the response she got from the nurse she asked again, she said the nurse reassured her that all is well, she further told the patients’ mother that if she doesn’t do what she did she could be issued a query.
You recall we reported on the 30th Of April that residents of Cross River State received messages in which they were offered millions if they claim they are Covid-19 positive.
