Edo Governor Godwin Obaseki arrived the National Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) a few moments ago for screening.
He defected from the beleaguered All Progressives Congress (APC) to the party on Friday following his disqualification from the ruling party’s primary.
Consequently, the PDP granted him and his deputy a waiver to contest for elective posts on its platform.

PDP had already screened Gideon Ikhine, Ogbeide Ihama, and Kenneth Imansuangbon for the primary slated for Tuesday in Benin, capital of Edo.
The PDP primary is slated for Tuesday, June 23, in Benin, Edo State.
