Police Apprehend Three Suspected Robbers In Osun

The Osun State Police Command has arrested three men suspected to be members of the six-man gang of armed robbers terrorizing Yakoyo community, Ife North Local Government Area of the state.

The command said it apprehended the three members on Friday, securing several deadly weapons, including machetes, phones, among others.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the report in a statement on Saturday.

She said, “We arrested three armed robbers in Yakoyo. They are a group of six. Three among the group are still at large.”

She also noted that the command had launched a search for the remaining members.
