AFCON Qualifiers: Super Eagles Depart For Benina Ahead Of Libya Clash

The Super Eagles have departed Nigeria for their matchday four 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.

The team, along with officials, boarded a chartered flight on Sunday morning.

After securing a 1-0 victory over the North Africans at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Friday, the Super Eagles now aim for another win in Tuesday’s clash.

The match will take place at the 10,000-capacity Benina Stadium, 19 kilometers from Benghazi, on an artificial turf that may pose challenges for Nigeria’s foreign-based players.
