Another Professor, at the Bayero University, Kano (BUK), Prof. Monsuru Emiola has died on Wednesday.
The deceased was a senior lecturer with the Physical and Health Education Department, Faculty of Education of the institution.
Emiola, who is an indigene of Oyo state, died at the university clinic after a brief illness.
Reports says the late lecturer was a devoted Muslim.

He is survived with a wife and children.
Also, BUK had also lost a lecturer in the Faculty of Communication, Prof Balarabe Maikaba, on April 26.
Recall again that on Monday ACP Atiku M. Nagodi, Commanding Officer MOPOL 9 Command died in Kano.
Nagodi, aged 51, died on Monday, May 4, at his residence in Kano, after a protracted illness.
