EKO HOT BLOG reports that a former Vice Chairman of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, Omolara Dada, has been reported to have passed on after a brief illness in Lagos State.
This online media platform gathered that the deceased, who was a founding member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was said to have died on Wednesday.
Before her demise, Dada was a member of the Lagos chapter of the Federation of Muslim Women Associations in Nigeria (FOMWAN).
A resident of the council, Sherifah Yusuf-Ajibade, who confirmed the development, described the deceased APC chieftain as a mother to all.
Yusuf-Ajibade said that her death is a huge loss to the Amuwo Odofin Muslim Community and Lagosians considering her contribution towards the promotion of Islam in the state.
