Popular Rap Artiste Purchases Own Casket

Japesa, the popular Kenyan musician, whose real name is Philip Ptaroba Okoyo, has done something really curious.

The artiste shocked his fans after he purchased a coffin in anticipation of his funeral.

Taking to his Instagram page on Saturday, March 27, the flamboyant rap artiste shared a photo of himself posing with the casket and said that he didn’t want his fans to struggle with funeral expenses.

“Bought myself a coffin, just in case nikufe msisumbuliwe na till number,” he wrote.

His fans reacted to the post with a section of them saying that he should mind his utterances as words are powerful while others noted that the coffin is cheap.

Recall a 36-year-old Zimbabwean socialite and millionaire Ginimbi Genius, who had bought his own Casket one week before he died from a road accident.

It was alleged that the casket was already purchased to be used for his burial whenever he dies.

Also, a popular Nigerian Rap artiste, Oladapo Olaitan Olaonipekun, known as Dagrin, who asked his fans not to cry for his death in his song “If I Die”

These happenings have raised a question in the minds of the general public if these celebrities are in the known of the time when they will pass on.
