Be Good Ambassadors, EFCC Charges Corps Members

The acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu on Tuesday charged Youth Corps members to be good ambassadors and to enlist as foot soldiers in the fight against corruption.

Magu stated this during a sensitisation lecture on the ills of corruption and its consequences on the society at the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Orientation camp in Okada, Edo State.

According to him, the youths are critical stakeholders in the fight against corruption and other forms of economic and financial crimes.

The EFCC boss who spoke through Richard Ogberagha, Head, Advance Fee Fraud Section, Benin Zonal Office, said the youth, as future leaders of Nigeria, should imbibe the culture of hard work,  excellence, integrity and shun all forms of economic and financial crimes.

He admonished the Corps members to be an excellent example in character and conduct in their areas of primary assignment and to expose any acts that fail the simple test of integrity in their communities.
