- Another former Nigerian First Lady is dead.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that Mrs. Victoria Aguiyi-Ironsi, the wife of late Nigerian Head of State, Major General J.T.U. Aguiyi-Ironsi, has passed away.
The former Nigerian First Lady died in the early hours of Monday at the age of 97.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that her husband, and the Supreme Commander of the National Military Government, Aguiyi-Ironsi, was killed on July 29, 1966.

The demise of Mrs. Victoria Aguiyi-Ironsi is coming a few days after the death of Mrs. Hadiza Shagari, the wife of Nigerian former President, Shehu Shagari.
Mrs. Hadiza Shagari died of COVID-19 complications on August 12, 2021, at the age of 80.
