A Secretary to Ondo State Government (SSG) Mr. Ifedayo Abegunde has officially resigned his appointment under the Akeredolu government.
Abegunde confirmed this in a statement on Monday that he has resigned his appointment as the Ondo SSG.
It was alleged that Adegunde had resigned alongside the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi, to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
“Yes it is true, I have resigned my appointment as Ondo state SSG. It is no longer a rumor,’ he said.
Abegunde added that he is officially going to disclose his next line of action after his resignation within the next 24 hours.
Abegunde was appointed the SSG by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu in 2016.
