- #EndSARS Protesters Dispersed In Lagos By Security Operatives

Security operatives have interrupted the ongoing #EndSARS protest in Lagos, Ekohotblog reports.
Our report confirmed that the protest kicked-off on Wednesday in Ikeja and extended to Lekki toll gate opposite Oriental Hotel on Thursday.
The protest on Thursday was led by popular Nigerian singers Runtown and Falz.
The protesters demanded dismantling of the Special Ant-Robbery Response Squad (SARS) unit of the police for alleged brutality and extortion.
Ekohotblog.com learned that shortly after the protest started on Thursday, October 8, 2020, some police detectives dispersed the protesters with some of them allegedly assaulted.
Musicians Falz and Runtown have vowed not to back down on the protest.
