Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has tested negative for the coronavirus, more than a week after he was confirmed positive, Eko Hot Blog can confirm.
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Gboyega Akosile, who broke the news via his Twitter handle on Thursday, shared a video of Governor Sanwo-Olu at his official residence in Marina, Lagos State.

The governor, while addressing journalists described his battle with the virus as moderate.
He however emphasised the need to observe the COVID-19 safety measures and submitting to a test as soon as symptoms surface.
Sanwo-Olu, however, vowed to bring the full weight of the law to bear on those found violating the COVID-19 rules.
