EKO HOT BLOG reports that Ansaru terrorists that attacked and abducted passengers of the Abuja- Kaduna bound train on March 28 are responsible for the deadly Tuesday night attack on Kuje correctional facility.

According to The PUNCH, Mallam Tukur Mamu, Media Consultant to controversial Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, stated this in Kaduna State on Wednesday.

Mamu claimed that before the attack, he shared intelligence reports with authorities concerned but they allegedly failed to act.

This online medium reported how terrorists had attacked the facility and freed inmates including 64 of their members held in custody in an attack that lasted hours on Tuesday night.

The prison authorities said the assailants used explosives on the center’s fence and its main entrance to gain access to the facility.
