Plateau Govt has withdrawn the operational licence of all private schools.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Plateau Government on Thursday, revoked the Certificates of Operations of all Nursery, Primary and Secondary schools operating in the state.
Elizabeth Wampum, the State Commissioner of Education, (secondary), disclosed this at a press conference on Thursday.

According to the commissioner, the decision was taken after the realisation that over 5000 private schools were operating without a license.
She said 90% of private schools in Plateau do not adhere to government policies and mandates, adding that 85% of the 495 private schools earlier granted licenses had compromised.
She said, “This is to inform the general public that the operating license of all private Nursery/Pre-primary, Primary, Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools in the State will have to revalidate their certification.”
