Unknown gunmen have attacked a police checkpoint in Anambra.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that there is palpable tension in Anambra state after gunmen attacked a police checkpoint on Tuesday.
It was gathered that many people were feared dead during the attack while others are reportedly injured.

The incident happened at about 10.30am between the Ihiala-Uli axis in Ihiala local government area.
The attack forced drivers and commuters to run for dear lives as the gunmen shot non-stop.
This online news platform learnt that all the security operatives removed their uniforms and took cover in nearby bushes and houses.
The Onitsha-Owerri expressway had been abandoned as of the time of filing this report.
Even commercial bus drivers have paused operations for fear of being killed.
