BREAKING: Unknown Gunmen Abduct Workers In Ondo

Some construction workers in Ondo State have been abducted by unknown gunmen.

The construction workers were said to be working at Ikaram-Akunnu Akoko Road in Akoko North West Local Government Area when they were kidnapped.

Three of the construction workers were said to have been abducted by the unknown gunmen.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the incident has raised apprehension in Ikaram and Akunu in the Akoko axis of the state.

Sources further disclosed that local hunters and vigilantes had started combing the forests in the area to find the abductors and their victims.

The Divisional Police Officer in charge of Oke-Agbe, Ade Akinwande, was said to have led policemen to trail the kidnappers as part of efforts to rescue the abducted workers.

Confirming the incident, the acting Police Area Commander for Ikare Akoko, Timibra Toikimo, urged residents of the area to always avail the police necessary intelligence which could help them in arresting criminals.
