The Ondo State Government under the administration of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, has asked all schools within the state to implement the recitation of the Oodua Anthem.

It can be recalled that the Ondo State Executive Council had earlier approved the adoption of the Oodua Anthem which projects the virtues, tradition and virtues of Yoruba tribe.

The Yoruba Anthem was coined and composed by the late Sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo as a cultural symbol of Yoruba home and abroad and as a call to reawaken their hearts to the rich value of the tribe.
