COVID-19 In Nigeria: Over 20,000 Cases, 6,879 Discharged, 518 Death

COVID-19 in Nigeria hits over 20,000 has NCDC announced 436 new cases.

Ekohotblog reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 436 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Sunday evening, June 21.

This online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 436 COVID-19 cases recorded on Sunday evening,  169 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, Oyo-52 Plateau-31 Imo-29 Kaduna-28 Ogun-23 FCT-18 Enugu-18 Bauchi-17 Bayelsa-14 Rivers-8 Osun-6 Kano-6 Edo-5 Benue-5 Adamawa-3 Borno-2 Abia-1 Ekiti-1, southwest Nigeria.

Ekohotblog reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to twenty thousand and two hundred and forty-four (20,244) with six thousand, eight hundred and seventy-nine (6,879) people discharged and five hundred and eighteen (518) deaths recorded so far.
