The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 167,692 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated July 1, the NCDC reports 74 new cases with one COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 10 states – Lagos-49, Ondo-12, Oyo-3, Rivers-3, Kaduna-2, Ekiti-1, FCT-1, Gombe-1, Jigawa-1 and Ogun-1.
EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 164,273 cases have been discharged while the death toll stands at 2,121.
According to the NCDC, 0 cases were reported in Sokoto.
