Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has announced the schedule for its 2024 Bursary Screening exercise. The event is set to take place on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the Eredo LCDA Customary Court Hall.

Ekohotblog reports that the bursary screening is part of the council’s ongoing commitment to fostering educational development and empowering students within the community. Applicants are advised to arrive promptly and bring all required documents for verification.
In an official statement, the Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Monsuru Akinloye, emphasized the administration’s dedication to education, describing it as a cornerstone of community progress.

“Our administration is focused on ensuring that the educational aspirations of our students are supported through initiatives like the bursary program. This screening is an important step toward empowering our youth and investing in their future,” he said.
The council highlighted the importance of maintaining modest dressing and proper decorum throughout the screening process to ensure a smooth and efficient exercise.
Hon. Monsuru Akinloye further stated, “We understand the role education plays in breaking the cycle of poverty and building sustainable communities. By supporting our students, we are laying a solid foundation for a brighter tomorrow.”
One of the bursary applicants, Oluwaseun Adeyemi, shared her gratitude, saying, “This bursary will go a long way in easing the financial burden on my family. I am thankful to the Eredo LCDA for prioritizing education.”
The council urged all applicants to adhere to the provided guidelines and expressed confidence in the success of the screening exercise, reaffirming its commitment to supporting the educational advancement of the community’s youth.
