EKO HOT BLOG reports that Alhaji Fatai Abayomi Adekunle, a former Local Government Area (LGA) Chairman of Lagos Island in Lagos State, has died.
It was gathered that Alhaji Adekunle died on Sunday 17th April 2022.
The actual cause of his death as well as age cannot be determined as of the time of publishing this report.
His ‘political son’, Tijani Adetoyese Olusi announced on his known Facebook page.
“Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un
With total submission to the will of Allah, we commiserate with the entire Adekunle family on the demise of our political father, Alhaji Fatai Abayomi Adekunle, who died on Sunday 17th April 2022.
Alhaji Fatai Abayomi Adekunle was the former LGA Chairman, of Lagos Island.
May Allah be with all the families he left behind, forgive all his shortcomings and grant him Aljanat Frida’us. (Aameen).

Tributes have been pouring in after the death of Alhaji Adekunle. The late politician is expected to be buried today (Monday) in accordance with Islamic rites.
