Fake Doctor Arrested For Reportly Killing APC Chieftain During Surgery

EKO HOT BLOG reports that a fake medical doctor, Andrew Godwin has been apprehended by the Joint Taskforce Base 14 after an unsuccessful surgery which led to the death of a 45-year-old patient identified as Joshua Haruna in Boi, Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State.

 

The suspect was apprehended on Sunday, September 25, 2022, over the unsuccessful surgery, Nigerian Tribune reports.

The deceased, until his passing, was a former ward Chairman of APC, Boi C ward in Bogoro and Campaign Coordinator of Sen. Lawal Yahaya Gumau.

 

The suspect, who runs an unlicensed practice in Gambar Sabon Layi in Tafawa Balewa for a few years now, has been carrying out his illegal business on unsuspecting members of the public.

 

The Nasarawa State indigene reportedly opened up the stomach of his patient and left him that way till the next day.

 

An unconfirmed report from the community told the aforementioned publication that Godwin had performed unsuccessful surgery on many people who later died as a result of the complications.

 

The JTF officer who arrested him, said the fake health worker has been handed over to the Police in the Bogoro Division for further investigations.
