FearlessOctober1 Protests Begin in Abuja

A nationwide protest known as #FearlessInOctober kicked off today in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the demonstration is an extension of the #EndBadGovernance protests held between August 1 and 10, driven by the economic hardships many Nigerians are enduring.

By 7 a.m., protesters had already gathered at Utako Market in the bustling Utako district, where the protest is now in full swing.

Damilare Adenola, Director of Mobilisation for the Take It Back Movement, expressed grave concern over the economic challenges facing the country, blaming the Federal Government’s policies for the struggles.
