Officers arrived to find the bodies of two men and one woman at the scene, while a fourth victim later succumbed to gunshot wounds in the hospital, Fitzgerald confirmed.

Authorities are investigating whether the assailants approached the victims on foot or shot from a vehicle. No arrests have been made at this time.

The shooting occurred on Magnolia Avenue, near a hookah and cigar lounge. Witnesses standing in line outside the venue told Al.com that some of the gunfire sounded as if it came from a weapon modified to fire automatically.
