Its A Scam – FRSC Warns Against Fake Recruitment Claims

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has dismissed circulating online reports about an ongoing recruitment exercise as fraudulent

In a statement on Friday, Assistant Corps Marshal and Corps Public Education Officer, Olusegun Ogungbemide, cautioned the public to disregard these claims and avoid engaging with individuals or platforms promoting such scams.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Ogungbemide clarified that the Corps is not recruiting at the moment and has no ongoing plans to initiate a recruitment process.

He emphasized that any announcements regarding employment opportunities are made through official channels, ensuring transparency and credibility.

“The attention of the Federal Road Safety Corps has been drawn to online publications falsely claiming an ongoing recruitment exercise. The public is hereby informed that the Corps is not recruiting and has no plans to do so currently,” the statement read.

The Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, also advised prospective applicants to remain vigilant and only rely on announcements made via the FRSC’s official website, social media platforms, and the National Traffic Radio 107.1FM.

He stressed that the Corps will not be held responsible for any losses incurred by individuals who fall victim to the fraudulent schemes.

“The Corps has always maintained transparent recruitment processes and will continue to do so. We urge the public to avoid engagement with these scammers and disregard their misleading publications,” Ogungbemide added.

The FRSC reiterated its commitment to public safety and accountability, urging individuals interested in joining the Corps to wait for official notifications to avoid being defrauded.
