Ekohotblog reports that the prestigious Epe Club, widely regarded as the first and finest social club in Epe, celebrated its 50th anniversary with grandeur, bringing together dignitaries, community leaders, and members to reflect on its legacy of service and socio-economic development in the region.

In his keynote address at the event, Hon. Akinloye, Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, praised the club for its impactful interventions in healthcare, education, and empowerment programs.
“Epe Club is not just the first and the best in Epe but also a beacon of hope and progress for the entire Epe Division. Their initiatives—ranging from donations to medical centers and scholarship awards to empowerment programs—have transformed countless lives. We are proud of their dedication to driving development in our community,” he stated.
He also lauded the leadership and vision of the club, expressing hope for continued unity and success in their mission to uplift the Epe Division.
Founded in 1974, Epe Club has built a legacy of fostering unity, promoting cultural heritage, and addressing critical community challenges.
Over the years, its members—comprising professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders—have spearheaded projects like donating hospital equipment to Epe General Hospital, sponsoring education for underprivileged children, and providing grants for small businesses.
