Recently, a fan suggested she “switch it up…change your sound,” arguing that her music lacked variety.Responding to the backlash, Simi took to X platform to defend her style, emphasizing the uniqueness of her voice.
She stated, “Regardless of the genre, my voice is what sets my music apart. Some love its piercing nature, while others find it overwhelming.”
Simi acknowledged the divide among listeners, admitting, “My voice can be polarizing. But it’s my superpower, and I won’t compromise.”
In a bold declaration, she asserted, “I cannot and will not change my voice. Insulting my artistry is unacceptable.”
