EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is preparing for the 2023 general elections by demonstrating the use of its new technology, the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machine, to the public.
On Wednesday, INEC’s Deputy Director of ICT, Lawrence Bayode, appeared on Channels Television to explain how the machine works and how it will be used to upload election results.
According to Bayode, INEC is currently in the process of configuring the BVAS machines ahead of the upcoming elections. During the program, he provided a demonstration of how the results will be uploaded using the BVAS machine.
