Insecurity: IGP briefs Senate on Community Policing

The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu on Wednesday early morning showed up prior to the Senate at plenary.

Adamu is anticipated to brief the Senate on the “Concept and implementation modalities of Community Policing Policy” of the Force according to the order paper consisting of the routine of tasks of the top chamber fortoday

Recall that President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, had recently claimed that the Senate would certainly welcome the IGP to discuss the Force’s continuous community policing initiatives to the legislators.

Lawan claimed the instruction becomes part of initiatives by the National Assembly to discover a long-term remedy to the weakening security scenario in the nation.
