Kastina has recently been at the receiving end of vicious and horrendous activities of bandits with many Killed and properties lost.
Buhari is a native of Katsina.
According to TheCable, residents of the town, on Tuesday morning, took to the street to express their dissatisfaction with the security situation in the state.

The state government had entered a peace agreement with the gunmen. But despite the accord, communities in wanton killings and attacks didn’t cease in the state.
On June 1, bandits shot dead 60-year-old Abu Atiku, district head of Yantumaki.
