Police have begun manhunt as gunmen abducted students in Edo state.
Ekohotblog reports that the Edo State Police Command has launched manhunt as gunmen on Tuesday evening kidnapped two students of Gloryland Group of Schools in Edo State.
It was learnt that the incident took place around 5:35 pm on Igarra-Auchi Road near Ikpeshi in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area.

Witnesses said the pulpils were dragged out of the vehicle they were travelling in with some adults to the forests.
Confirming the incident, the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Bello Kontongs, told The Nation that the command has launched manhunt and policemen, soldiers and vigilance members were already combing the forest to rescue the two kidnapped students unhurt.
