Soludo Opens Up On Resigning As Governor Of Anambra

Soludo has opened up on vacating his position as the governor of Anambra State.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo, has said that rather than adopt deceit, ‘which most Nigerian politicians are known for’, “I would leave public office”.

This comes after Soludo came under fire from supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi after the governor claimed that Obi’s investment on behalf of Anambra state was “worth next to nothing” during an interview on national television.

According to Soludo, he vowed to be honest with his thoughts and not share deceit.

“I am not an Angel but rather than knowingly repeat the same deceitful character that politicians are known for, I would leave public office. It is a vow I made to my God and to my family.
