United States President, Donald Trump, has recovered from coronavirus.
He was discharged from the Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M.
He stated he feels better “than I did 20 years ago.”
You recall that Trump, alongside his wife, Melanie, had tested positive for the virulent disease on Friday and has been hospitalised since then.
Trump, in a tweet on Monday evening, announced that he will be leaving the Walter Reed Medical Centre where he had been receiving treatment.
The voluble President, in his habitual manner of playing down the severity of the pandemic since its outbreak, urged Americans not to be scared of coronavirus.
The disease has killed no fewer than 200,000 American.
He tweeted on his official handle @realDonaldTrump: “I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid.
“Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!”
Trump is seeking reelection and will slug it out with the democratic candidate, Joe Biden, at the November poll.
Trump, in recent weeks, has come under attack over his remark that he will not commit to a peaceful transition if he does not will.
