Touting Lagos as the best destination for investments, the state has expressed its readiness to partner with any investor, assuring a conducive and friendly business environment for predictable returns.

During the panel session on African Infrastructure Investment: Impacts and Returns, Commissioner for Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade and Investment, Mrs. Folashade Ambrose-Medebem, and her Innovation, Science and Technology counterpart, Mr. Tunbosun Alake, showcased the state’s potential and infrastructure projects.

“Lagos has a huge population over 25 million people, stressing that more than 60 percent of the population is youth,” Ambrose-Medebem stated.

Furthermore, she highlighted the state’s investment in critical infrastructure, including the Blue and Red rail lines, water, health, and housing projects.

“The Lagos State Government has provided a lot of infrastructure for businesses to thrive in the State,” she added.

Alake emphasized the state’s attractiveness for investments, citing the influx of $3 billion worth of investment and a thriving start-up ecosystem over the past three and a half years.
