According to the results declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Obi polled 582,664 while Tinubu scored 541,850 in the February 25 election.
But while speaking to his supporters in Abuja today (Wednesday), the president-elect said “there is no beating in Lagos, but a temporary defeat”.
Tinubu, who thanked his party for their support, stated that the outcome of the Lagos election result is a setback a politician must experience.
