Lagos Empowers Military Wives With Skills Program For Economic Independence

Hon. Cecilia Bolaji Dada emphasized the importance of skills acquisition during the closing ceremony of a four-week program for military and police officers’ wives at Bonny Camp, Victoria Island.

The program, simultaneously across five centers, aimed to empower women for economic sustainability.

Dr. Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, represented by Mrs. Funmi Omotoso, highlighted the government’s commitment to human capital development and women’s empowerment, stressing the role of skills in reducing crime and poverty.

Pharm. (Mrs.) Rahkiya M.T. Usman, wife of the Commanding Officer Division 1, praised Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for the initiative, aiming to improve lives within the Cantonment.
