Lagos Shuts Down Markets, Magistrate Courts

The Lagos State Government has directed all open markets in the state to shut down effective from Thursday, March 26, 2020.

This was disclosed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Gbenga Akosile, on Twitter.

He said: “All open markets and stores except for sellers of food and medicines, medical equipment and other essential life-saving products are directed to close from Thursday 26th, 2020 for the next 7 days.

The governor also ordered all Magistrate Courts in the state to shut down immediately.
