EKO HOT BLOG reports that landlords and residents of Magodo Estate of Lagos metropolis are currently stranded as policemen have taken over the estate to execute a Supreme Court judgment on behalf of the landowners.
According to The Nation, at about 4am on Wednesday, the gate of Shangisha Estate, off CMD Road, was locked.
Nobody could either come in or go out. Commercial activities were paralysed.

According to reports, the main entrance leading into the estate ane other small gates were under lock and key, which forced many to stay outside.
A security officer told a resident who demanded entry: “Nobody can go in or out for now, that’s the order”.
Some of the occupiers of properties, residents and business owners lamented the hardship faced in the early hours of Wednesday.
The residents however pleaded with the government to intervene.
